We need to look at the bigger picture and secure a future for our Children too! - This is not just about NOW, it is about TOMORROW!

PLEASE NOTE: We are not trying to set ourselves up as the 'organisers' of this multi-headed protest movement. The whole point of grass-roots action is that it comes from people around the country, not from a centralised leadership. That way there are no high profile figureheads who can be bullied or bribed into selling out the rank-and-file, which is what broke the Fuel Protests in 2000. If the strikes become identified with one or two individuals, or with any particular political party or trade union, then they will end up crushed or sold out. Our job on this site and contact number is to collect and make available to protesters and the press information about protests, and ideas and resources to help make them as effective as possible. We're not leaders, we're a bulletin board. On protests in our own areas we're just faces in the crowd, and that's how we want to stay.
